Christine Rodriguez, LMHC specializes in narrative story–centered psychotherapy, helping individuals and couples understand how their lived experiences, relationships, and meanings have shaped the stories they carry about themselves and the world. She believes that while pain, loss, and adversity may influence a person’s story, they do not have to define its direction or ending. Currently Christine works at Story House Counseling in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She can accommodate both virtual and in-person sessions.

Christine’s work is rooted in narrative story therapy, an approach that views anxiety, depression, and relational distress as emerging from dominant stories shaped by past experiences, unmet needs, and repeated patterns—not personal failure or deficiency. Through collaborative and compassionate exploration, she helps clients identify the narratives that have been shaping their emotional lives and relationships, gently separating them from the problems they face and moving into lasting change.

In therapy, Christine creates a sacred, respectful space where clients can examine how each “page” of their story has been written, while also uncovering strengths, values, and moments of resilience that may have been overlooked. Together, clients are supported in rewriting stories that reflect healing, clarity, connection, and purpose. Her approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from evidence-based practices while honoring the whole person and their unique story.

Training and Education

Christine has a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace College and a Master's Degree in Christian Studies with a concentration in Spiritual Formation.

I believe your story deserves to move toward healing, shaped not only by what has hurt you, but by what can still be restored. In narrative story therapy, we take time to gently explore the experiences, meanings, and moments that have influenced how each page of your story has been written.

Often, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties emerge when painful chapters, unmet needs, or limiting narratives begin to shape how you see yourself, others, and the world. Together, we name these patterns with compassion—without allowing them to define the whole of who you are. Through curiosity, reflection, and collaborative care, narrative therapy helps you separate yourself from the problems you face and make space for new pages to be written pages marked by clarity, connection, resilience, and hope.
